Why Join Twende Green Planet?

Build Africa's Blue Carbon Future With Us

At Twende Green Planet, our work happens on the coast, in community nurseries, in policy rooms and at the Summit stage, not behind a single desk. When you join our team, you step into a small, fast-moving organisation where your work directly restores ecosystems and convenes the partnerships that fund that restoration at scale.

• Meaningful Impact

Your work directly restores mangroves, convenes Pan-African partnerships, and builds Kenya’s blue carbon economy.

• Field & Learning Opportunities

Time on our restoration sites and with partners like KALRO and Kenya Forest Service, alongside structured professional development.

• A Small, Collaborative Team

A lean, Nairobi-based team working closely with coastal communities, partners and volunteers across Africa.

• Room to Grow

As a young, growing organisation, early team members take on real responsibility and grow with us.

Life At Twende Green Planet

Where Fieldwork Meets Purpose

At Twende Green Planet, people come first. We invest in our team with hands-on field exposure, exposure to real funder and partner relationships, and the flexibility a small organisation can offer, building a safe, rewarding place to do work that matters.
