Dr. Patricia Kingori

Dr. Patricia King'ori-Mugendi is the Country Director for CorpsAfrica Kenya, a pan-African service organisation that recruits university graduates into a one-year volunteer programme, placing them in rural communities to drive grassroots development.

Dr. Patricia holds a Doctorate and a Master's in Business Administration. She spent eight years at Unga Group Ltd. managing key departments within the animal health division, and later served as Regional Head of Corporate Marketing for East and Central Africa at Samsung Electronics — overseeing marketing communications, public relations, and corporate citizenship across the region. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Kenya Institute of Management, and the Marketing Society of Kenya.

Under her leadership at CorpsAfrica Kenya, she has expanded volunteer deployment, strengthened community partnerships, and deepened the organisation's impact in rural development across agriculture, clean energy, health, and education.

At the NGO Summit 2026, Dr. Patricia brings a unique perspective that merges corporate strategy with community development — demonstrating how marketing, brand-building, and systems thinking can amplify the reach and sustainability of volunteer-driven NGO programming across Africa.
