Swahilipot Hub Foundation

Swahilipot Hub Foundation is a Mombasa-based youth organisation working across Kenya’s coastal region, empowering young people through technology, arts and entrepreneurship. Its work sits close to Twende Green Planet’s own youth-focused programming on the coast.

shared coastal youth focus

Shared Geography and a Shared Youth Focus

• Technology training, arts programming and entrepreneurship development for coastal youth
• A youth-focused mission that overlaps with the youth focus of our own Blue Carbon Quarterly Activation
• Based in the same coastal city, Mombasa, where Twende Green Planet’s restoration work is rooted
• Named here as an organisation whose work we track and respect, not a confirmed partner

why we name Swahilipot here

Named for a Shared Youth Mission in Coastal Kenya

Swahilipot Hub Foundation’s youth-focused mission in coastal Kenya sits close to our own. Twende Green Planet has no formal relationship with Swahilipot Hub at this stage; we name the organisation here because its work is directly relevant to ours, and we will report a working relationship plainly if one develops.

• Both organisations centre youth participation as a design principle, not an afterthought
• Both are rooted in coastal Kenya, working with and for the same communities
• A future working relationship, if it develops, would be reported here honestly, not assumed in advance
• See our own Volunteer page for how young people can get involved with Twende directly
